KROZ IS BORN
As kids, we grew up surfing in 8°C waters with 5/4 wetsuits, struggling to catch rideable waves. Yet our dedication to the sport was stronger than most. We were driven to discover secret spots around Brittany and to connect with other passionate surfers. Like any groom, we heavily watch Andy Irons, Tom Curren and Kelly Slaters’ edit dreaming to live in Hawaï or Sydney.
As adults, we realized that surfing is about much more than Californian palm trees or Australian mullets. Surf culture must also recognize cold-water surfers.
Through our travels to places like Iceland, Norway, Ireland, and Scotland, we discovered a deep surf culture that resonated with our own experience in Brittany.
That’s how KROZ was born..
Our mission is to give a voice to the cold-water surfing community—too often overlooked by today’s surf industry.
